Waco Eagles MX Park

Waco Eagles MX Park, formerly the Waco Motorcycle Club, has been running since 1934, making it one of the oldest continuously operating off-road motorcycle facilities in the United States. The club bought its current Riesel property east of Waco off Highway 6 in 1948, paying for it with membership dues, and it has been the historic motorcycle home of central Texas ever since, with three generations of some families racing the same dirt. The grounds carry two motocross tracks, a half mile flat track oval (a rarity on an MX property), and surrounding trails. Daily riding is members-only, with keyed gate access included in a membership that runs September through August, while the monthly third Sunday races are open to everyone with no membership required. The race calendar stays busy: rounds of the NMA Texas State Championship, the Main Event Championship Series, Cen-Tex Vintage Motocross on the back track, AHRMA South Central vintage racing, and MotoMasters Vet Series dates. Campgrounds with bathrooms and dry camping sites cover race weekends. Riders in Waco, Hewitt, Robinson, Bellmead, Lorena, and Mart treat it as home turf, and the heritage pulls riders down from Dallas-Fort Worth and up from Austin.
