The Pit MX is a natural-terrain motocross practice track in Tool, Texas, sitting in the Cedar Creek Lake area about an hour southeast of Dallas. The track welcomes riders of all ages and skill levels, with a layout that stays safe and fun for beginners while still giving seasoned riders plenty to work with. What started as an 85cc practice course has been expanded over the years into roughly a mile of track with natural elevation changes. Obstacles run the classic mix: doubles, tabletops, whoops, rollers, and a few tight, narrow sections that reward smooth technique. The dirt is mostly hard-pack with loose dirt collecting in the berms, so expect it slick or dusty during dry summer stretches. Heavy rain can bring delays or a closure, so check ahead after a storm.
