Highlands Motocross Park

Highlands Motocross Park in Crosby, Texas sits 35 minutes east of downtown Houston: 40 acres with three separate riding surfaces. The Day Motocross track runs tabletops, step-ups, doubles, and sweepers. The Night track is a lighted, Supercross-feel layout built for after-work sessions. And a dedicated Pit Bike track covers kids and skill drills.

Keeping the day and night tracks separate is the smart part. Plenty of tracks just flip lights on over the day layout; Highlands built a night surface specifically for evening riding, so after-dark sessions get a track designed for them.

The lighted night track is also the practical answer to Houston summers. From May through September, daytime heat is brutal, and evening laps under the lights are how you keep riding through it. The Supercross-feel design means those sessions carry real technical demand, not just casual putting around.

Track prep runs several times each week, with staff on-site during practice, the kind of maintenance rhythm that keeps the surface consistent.

The park is open Tuesday, Thursday, and weekends, weather permitting, and camping is allowed Friday and Saturday nights for a small fee.

Riders in Crosby, Baytown, Channelview, Highlands, Humble, Kingwood, Pasadena, and along the I-10 / Beltway 8 corridor in east Harris County have it close, and Houston-core riders make the 35-minute run east for the day-and-night combination.
