The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross National there is one of the loudest crowds anywhere on the circuit and a shutdown of the surrounding rural roads for the weekend. Outside the big one, Michigan sits on some of the best riding dirt in the Midwest: sandy loam from glacial deposits that drains well, sets up fast, and forgives a wet morning better than clay states.
