Ogemaw Sport and Trail Center

Ogemaw Sport & Trail Center (OSTC) is a 175 acre motocross campground in Rose City, Michigan, running since 2003 on the idea that you should be able to roll off your campsite and straight onto the track. The riding menu covers the full spread: an advanced motocross track with rhythm sections and jumps, an intermediate track, a dedicated peewee track, a 4 mile hare scramble course, hill climbs, and singletrack enduro and e-bike trails, all cut through sandy terrain with hardpack sections, hills, and berms. The property also connects directly to the Ambrose Lake State Forest trail system, opening hundreds of miles of public Michigan ORV trails from the gate. Dirt bikes, quads, side-by-sides, and electric bikes are all welcome (Jeeps and full-size 4x4s are not), and pedal assist e-mountain bikes rent on site. The campground side runs private wooded tent and RV sites with water and electric hookups, modern restrooms with hot showers, an RV dump station, picnic tables, fire pits, a sand volleyball court, and a parts store that stays open late on weekends and holidays. Camping runs about $40 to $50 a day covering two adults and three kids under 16. One hard rule for the drive up: only take Scribner Rd to Lentz Rd, because the other approaches cross seasonal roads that will swallow a toy hauler.
