Republic Motocross Track

Republic Motocross Track is a publicly owned off-road racing facility in Republic, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, owned and operated by the Township of Republic. Once one of the region's premier riding destinations, the track is in the middle of a community-led revival to become a primary hub for UP off-road sports.

Unlike most private or club tracks, open riding here is free with no gate or practice fee. Riders must fill out and submit a liability waiver before riding, and forms can be picked up at the Republic Township Office at 279 Kloman Ave. The venue mixes traditional open-track motocross with tight, wooded off-road using its scramble trail infrastructure, and it hosts sanctioned racing including the UP Sandstormers AMA District 16 Boulder Alley Harescramble.

The track sits off Highway M-95 via the Boulder Alley entrance, sharing the property with the Boulder Alley 18-hole disc golf course. Park near the row of tires embedded in the ground next to the track. Dirt bikes and ATVs are not allowed on the disc golf fairways or greens. The community is actively scouting promoters and clubs to add fall race series, youth classes, vintage events, and organized open-practice weekends.
