Cadillac Motorcycle Club

Cadillac Motorcycle Club, CMC to the District 14 crowd, has been racing motocross on S 39 Road just west of Cadillac, Michigan since 1967. It is a privately operated, volunteer-run club with dozens of family memberships, and motocross is the main event even though members also ride street, trail, flat track and ice.

The track is a members-only place most of the year. Outside of sanctioned race weekends only members and their spouses and children ride, and members cannot bring guests. Where everyone else comes in is on the four or five AMA District 14 race weekends the club puts on each season, which include a state race, vintage classes and, new for 2026, a Sunday open ride day tacked onto the final weekend by popular request. Spectators are welcome on race days.

Race day runs on a simple routine: sign-up from 7 to 9 AM, practice at 9, racing right after. Entry is $40 per class with the transponder rental included, cash or check only, and you need AMA and D14 cards or can buy them at sign-up. Gate admission is $10 for racers and adults, $5 for kids 5 to 12 and seniors 60 and up, and free for 4 and under. Camping and RV space are first come, first served on race weekends, and there are concessions and restrooms on site. No pit bikes and no ATVs.

Want to ride here more than a few weekends a year? Joining means attending two consecutive club meetings (the 2nd Monday of each month at the clubhouse on the property), finding a sponsoring member, passing a club vote, paying dues plus a one-time $50 initiation fee, and serving a probationary first year. Full working members pay $50 a year with 40 volunteer hours; intermediate working members pay $250 with 20 hours.
