Versed MX is a private motocross facility and training grounds on Aitken Road in Croswell, Michigan, out in the Thumb about 20 minutes north of Port Huron. It is a club track rather than a commercial park: there is no posted schedule and no set gate fee. Ride days get announced on the Versed Mx Facebook page and Instagram, and the routine when you pull in is simple. Register in person, sign the sign-up sheet and waiver, and leave a donation to help cover fuel, equipment and prep.
The track itself is sand. The crew has trucked in a lot of it over the last two summers and keeps the layout groomed, so expect a soft, rutting surface that changes through the day and rewards fitness and throttle control. Riders training out of the facility post regularly from the track, and it doubles as training grounds for the group that runs it.
