The Berms MX

Six-track MX practice facility in Bonduel, WI, 30 miles from Green Bay. Immaculate rototilled prep, beginner and micro loops, coaching classes. Practice only.

What riders find

The Berms MX is a family-favorite motocross practice facility on Lakeview Road in Bonduel, in northeastern Wisconsin about 30 miles northwest of Green Bay. Its reputation rests on some of the most immaculate, consistently groomed dirt in the state: the big track gets a full-depth rototill before riding windows, and the watered sandy soil holds predictable lines instead of drifting.

Six separate riding areas keep wildly different speeds, ages, and bike sizes apart. The big track is a flowing, sculpted layout with safe tabletops, step-ups, and massive deep-tilled berms. A full-size beginner track runs gentler jump shapes for building throttle and cornering confidence. Four specialty loops, a single track, a turn track, a micro track, and a circle track, give kids on 50s and pit bikes dedicated space to learn machine control away from full-lap traffic.

This is strictly a practice venue, not a race track. Typical windows are Wednesday evenings from 4 to 8pm and Sundays from 10:30am to 3:30pm, but because the prep takes real labor to rebuild after rain, the owner posts daily track status, schedule shifts, and rainouts on The Berms MX Facebook and Instagram. Check before you haul. The season runs late spring through late fall, traditionally closing with a Rider Appreciation Day around early November.

The park operates on a rural homestead, and etiquette is taken seriously. Every first-time rider must read the Berms for Newbies guidelines pinned to their social pages, pit riding and spinning tires on the grass are strictly forbidden, and minors need a parent physically present at sign-in for waivers. The facility also periodically closes to the public for small technique classes, capped around 10 riders, focused on body position, jump approach, and cornering mechanics.

Wheelchair-accessible parking and public restrooms are on site, with organized pit parking along the tree lines. For riders in Green Bay, Shawano, Pulaski, Appleton, and the Fox Cities, The Berms is the region's premier dedicated practice stop.

(920) 655-4092. Track status posts daily on their Facebook and Instagram.
