Sam's MX

Sam's MX is fresh East Texas dirt: a grassroots motocross and pit bike track in Ben Wheeler, sitting right between Canton and Tyler. A local family built it in mid-2024, and it has already earned a name for laid-back, community-first ride days and dialed-in dirt. The main track flows, deeply tilled, watered, and chopped up with heavy machinery so the corners stay deep and the traction stays prime, with safe hits and a real rhythm section. Up on the hill, a dedicated turn track lets you work low-speed throttle, lean angle, and corner mechanics away from the jump lanes.

Got kids or a pit bike? There is a separate mini and pit bike loop for 110cc play bikes, e-bikes, and small riders, well clear of the fast traffic. Open practice runs Friday through Sunday (weather permitting), but the owners are flexible: message them on a weekday and they will often open the gates for a private or small-group session. Frequent riders can grab an optional membership for extended access, and public days sometimes turn into a party, with fastest-lap shootouts and $50 distance-jump contests over the whoops.
