Andrews MX

Andrews MX (AMX) is the West Texas moto hub: a 70-acre multi-track motocross park on county land just north of Andrews, Texas, off US-385 on Means Road, about 35 miles north of Odessa and Midland. Dirt bikes, minis, quads and side-by-sides all ride here, and the property packs in an outdoor motocross track, a supercross track and an arenacross track, plus a kids track, a pit bike track, a quad track and about three miles of trails, so a family or a crew with mixed bikes can spread out without waiting on one track.

Public practice runs on Sundays from 11 AM until dark at $30 per rider, and the crew moves the start up to 9 or 10 AM on some weekends, so watch the Andrews MX Facebook and Instagram pages the day before for the call. Full helmets are required, every rider signs the online Smartwaiver, and camping is allowed in the developed sites only. Registered SUVs and Jeeps are not allowed on the trails.

Race weekends bring the Big Side of Texas Championship to Andrews, and the park has hosted pro training days with Greg Schnell and Tommy Hahn and its own Haunted Throttle fall race. Online sign-up runs through RaceReady and Trackside, with gate pick by registration order. Call (432) 269-3132 or message the page with questions.
