Concho Valley Motocross

Concho Valley Motocross is a full sized public motocross track in San Angelo, Texas, and the only dedicated motocross track in the city. It sits behind the Concho Valley Dragway on Arden Road (RM 853) just west of town, and both venues belong to the same family: co-owners Kalen Winger-Paxton, her husband, and her father Mark Winger. Construction started in May 2025 and the track held its grand opening on August 23, 2025, giving Concho Valley riders a home track instead of a haul to Abilene or Midland.

The main track runs just over a mile, carved out of the wooded area behind the dragstrip with multiple jumps and built for all skill levels. A separate kids track keeps the little bikes and Stacyc balance bikes away from the big track. Because the motocross track shares the property with the dragway, riders and spectators use the dragway's entrance, pit parking, permanent restrooms and concession stand.

The track is not open every day. Open practice runs on posted Saturdays from 11 AM to 3 PM at $30 per rider, with pit vehicles at $20 and spectators at $10 (children 5 and under free). The Pit Bike Night Series runs seven rounds under the lights from March through October, with races starting at dark and riders needing five of the seven rounds for series points. The main track hosts MX racing too, including the Race For A Bigger Cause AMA event each May, and the track has pursued AMA sanctioning since it opened.
