Parker MX

Parker MX is a family-owned motocross practice track in Greenwich, New York, out in the Washington County countryside of upstate New York, and it comes with a twist: a full-service powersports parts store sits right on the property. The family has run the place since 2007, and it has become a staple for upstate dirt bike riders.

The track is built on excellent loamy soil with very few rocks, and the operators groom and water it regularly to keep the dust down and the lines clean. The layout runs standard, rider-friendly motocross features: deep berms, whoops, tabletops, and tighter rutted corners. It is designed to be accessible and fun for everyone from beginners to intermediates. This is a dirt-bike-only track, so leave the quad or side-by-side at home, because ATVs, quads, and UTVs are not allowed on the track. There is one primary track, and open practice is split into 20-minute sessions by bike size and rider experience to keep things flowing and safe.

Parker MX runs seasonally, roughly mid-May through late November, weather permitting, and it is dedicated entirely to open organized practice, so there is no competitive racing here. Practice is held on Thursdays from noon to 8pm (dusk) and Sundays from 10am to 5pm. A daily pass is $40 per rider, with discounted full-season and family passes for regulars. All riders and spectators sign an annual waiver, and minors have an additional AMA waiver step.

The on-site shop is a real perk. It is open year-round and stocked with exhausts, tires, helmets, and protective gear from major distributors like Parts Unlimited, Western Power Sports, and Helmet House, so if you snap a lever, flat a tire, or need gear, you never have to leave the property. Store hours are Monday noon to 6pm, Tuesday through Friday 10am to 6pm, and Saturday 10am to 3pm.
