Boondocks Moto

Boondocks Moto is a family-run motocross facility on 75-plus acres in Johnsonville, New York, in Rensselaer County northeast of Albany. It is a full-member track of the Metropolitan Sports Committee (MSC), part of the AMA District 34 race series, so it draws racers across divisions along with riders just out for a good day on the bike.

The track blends built-up clay and dirt lanes with the natural roll of the land, bordered by upstate timberlines. The layout mixes rhythm sections, sweeping turns, and a set of bigger jumps that give the faster classes something to chase.

Organized practice runs $40 per rider, race entry is $40 per class at MSC events, and spectators are $20 (kids under 6 free unless they are racing). Scored races use an XtremeScore transponder, available to rent on site. The grounds have plenty of grass parking for trucks, trailers, and weekend camping during multi-day races. There is even an on-site graphics shop, Boondocks Decals, printing custom kits right at the track.
