North Florida Motocross Park

North Florida Motocross Park is a 35-acre facility in Hilliard, just north of Jacksonville, built around a motto that tells you everything: "Where you get a blister, not a cast." Designed by a retired professional rider, every layout on the property prioritizes safe, flowing riding that welcomes kids, beginners, vets, and families while staying quick enough to entertain experts.

Four riding areas split the acreage. The one-mile main track runs rich red clay and loam through fun jump sections and wide turns, novice-safe but fast enough to host regional racing series. The two-thirds-mile Outback track is the rhythm workshop: continuous rollers, rhythm lanes, and technical corner combinations. A quarter-mile kids and pit bike track keeps PW50s and beginners completely clear of full-size traffic, and about five miles of wooded trails wind through the native Florida terrain for a change of pace.

The schedule is deliberately structured: Thursday midweek practice runs 9am to 2pm, and weekends stagger the groups so everyone gets clean track, kids and minis at 8am, beginner/novice/vet at 9, advanced at 10, running to 4pm Saturdays and 6pm Sundays. The track closes Monday through Wednesday and Friday for rebuilding, grooming, and heavy watering, which is why the clay stays as good as it does. Day rates run $40 on the main track, $35 for minis, and $30 for PW50s.

Overnighters are covered with 50-amp electric and freshwater RV hookups (no sewer on site, so plan your dump), open-field primitive camping, and a pit area shaded by big live oaks. Families consistently rate the clean, permanent restrooms, a real building, not a porta-john row.

For Jacksonville, Yulee, and southeast Georgia riders, NFMX is the accessible home gate, fifteen minutes off I-95 at the top of Florida.
