Harold Motor Sports

Harold Motor Sports is a 12-acre youth-focused motocross park in central Jacksonville, Florida, built specifically to bring kids and beginners into the sport. This is not a general track that happens to be family-friendly; developing young riders is the whole reason the place exists.

The 0.7-mile track is sized for younger and beginning riders rather than built at a scale that overwhelms developing technique. That is a deliberate choice: build the riders first, then worry about bigger dirt.

Private lessons give kids structured coaching. Bike rentals cover kids and families who do not own equipment yet, removing the buy-a-bike-first barrier that keeps a lot of new families out of the sport. Private ride sessions for kids and beginners deliver dedicated seat time without faster traffic to dodge. Summer ride days and seasonal events fill out the calendar across the year, so committed local families and occasional drop-in visitors can both find a session that fits.

The in-town location is a real advantage. Most tracks in the region mean a long haul out of the city; Harold Motor Sports lets a Jacksonville parent introduce a kid to dirt without committing to a four-hour round trip every weekend. Families in Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Orange Park, and St. Augustine along the I-95 and I-295 corridors are all within a practical drive, as is much of northeast Florida and southeast Georgia. For Duval County and the wider metro, this is the dedicated youth development track.
