Brooksville Motocross

Brooksville Motocross, formerly known as X-treme Kids MX, is an outdoor practice track on Citrus Way in Brooksville, Florida, north of Tampa in Hernando County. The rebrand came with a real expansion: the layout is roughly 75% new, redesigned for better multi-rider flow, and the track now welcomes every bike size from 50s to full size machines, five days a week. The hard-pack surface can go slick and dry in the corners, so the crew runs irrigation and water trucks to keep moisture in the dirt, and the jumps stay safe and manageable, tabletops rather than pro-sized leaps, which makes it a genuinely good training track for beginners, intermediates, and vet riders working on cornering and traction. Safety runs deep in the DNA here: practice is split into structured groups (advanced, intermediate/beginner, and kids), big bikes never share the track with kids, flaggers and towers watch the course, and full gear including a chest protector is required. Quads are prohibited and there are no rental bikes. Hours run Tuesday through Friday 9 to 5:30 and Saturdays 11 to 5, at $30 for adults and $20 for kids, cash or card, with spectators free. The grounds keep families comfortable with a red barn housing bathrooms with running water, lights, and fans, plus shade trees, bleachers, and picnic tables. Want coaching?
