What riders find
Miami Motocross Park in Hialeah, Florida is the only motocross facility in greater Miami. That is the single most important fact about it. South Florida is one of the largest metropolitan areas in the United States, and it has exactly one place to ride motocross, which says a lot about land use in this part of the country. Miami MX is genuinely the only show in town.
Depending on traffic, the park is 15 to 45 minutes from anywhere in the metro, which makes it the default home track for the entire South Florida motocross community. Anyone in Miami-Dade, Broward, or northern Monroe County who wants to ride is either riding here or driving an hour-plus to tracks further north.
The property runs a half-mile main track, a separate peewee track, and a third loop used to rotate riders by skill level during busy sessions, which keeps pace and line choice manageable when the gate is full.
Hours are Wednesday afternoons and weekends from 9am to 3pm, at $30 per head. The flat single rate keeps the place reachable for South Florida families building riding into their weekends.
The rental program is what really sets Miami MX apart. The park rents dirt bikes from 50cc to 450cc with full gear included, which is unusual anywhere in American motocross. Most tracks require you to bring your own bike and equipment; here, visiting tourists, curious first-timers, and local families who don't own bikes can still ride. That opens the gate well beyond the usual dedicated-rider crowd.
Private lessons with international champion Dustin Whitehead give developing riders access to coaching most regional tracks can't offer. Championship-level instruction at a public motocross park is rare, and the Whitehead program is a real part of the draw. The park also hosts birthday parties, which brings the facility to Miami families well beyond the riding community.
The Hialeah location is in Miami-Dade County, in the northwest part of the metro near the airport, with reasonable drive times from across South Florida. One track serving a market this size, with bike-and-gear rentals, championship coaching, and family events on top of open riding: there is nothing else like it in the region.
