Waldo MX

Waldo MX in Waldo, Florida is one of the few motocross parks in the state running both a modern main track and a dedicated vintage track. Classic-bike riders and modern-bike riders both get proper dirt for their machines on the same property.

The vintage track is the rare piece. Dedicated vintage surfaces are hard to find anywhere in American motocross, and Florida specifically has very few options for classic riders. If there is a pre-1985 bike in the trailer next to the kid's peewee, Waldo covers both, which almost no other track in the region can say.

The 1.5-mile main track handles modern bikes on a full-scale layout. Three tracks total round out the property: the vintage track for classic riders, the modern main, and a peewee track for the youngest riders.

About 60 campsites with electric and water hookups make Waldo a stay-and-ride destination, with daily, weekly, and monthly rates available. That pricing spread covers everything from a weekend trip to a multi-month winter snowbird stay, and it signals a property genuinely set up for extended visits rather than day use only.

Waldo sits just outside Gainesville on the rural side of town, in Alachua County. Riders in Waldo, Hawthorne, Starke, Keystone Heights, and Gainesville along the Highway 301 and US-441 corridors have it closest. Jacksonville riders come west specifically for the vintage track, Ocala riders run north, and vintage motocross riders from across the Southeast make the trip for a dedicated classic-bike surface.
