What riders find
Bostwick Creek Motocross Park is 60 acres of track and trail in Green Cove Springs, Florida, southwest of Jacksonville, and it rides like a full day out. It blends structured motocross with open woods riding, so a crew can chase jumps and trail miles on the same gate fee.
The main track is fast, soft black loam, with clay worked into the jump faces to fight rutting. It carries a permanent rhythm section, tabletops, and step-downs, and runs about a two-minute lap for A-class riders while staying friendly to beginners. A GP sand track adds a different surface and flow, and a dedicated PeeWee course, with small tabletops, bowl turns, singles, and roller hills, gives the little ones their own space. The PeeWee track is strictly limited to bikes and ATVs up to 65cc two-stroke or 110cc four-stroke.
When you want a break from the tracks, roughly four miles of tight wooded loops (A, B, and C) wrap the outer perimeter of the property. Dirt bikes and ATVs are welcome on both the tracks and the trails. UTVs and side-by-sides are a tight squeeze in the woods, so this is really a two-wheel and quad park.
Operating days shift with the season, track work, and weather, so call ahead to confirm before you load up. Standard practice generally runs Wednesdays from noon to dark, Saturdays 9am to 3pm (sometimes to 5pm), and Sundays 10am to 4pm (sometimes to 5pm). Gate fees usually land between $20 and $30 per rider depending on membership and family discounts.
Make a weekend of it. The park allows overnight camping for multi-day stays and race weekends, with 30-amp RV hookups, accessible restrooms, and a spray-wash station to blast the loam off your bike. A few house rules keep it a family park: approved safety gear with a strapped helmet, boots, and goggles is mandatory, any rider 17 and under needs a parent or guardian on site or a notarized minor release, and the paddock is first-gear only with no pit riding to or from the gate. It runs strictly drug-free, fireworks-free, and firearms-free, and pets must stay leashed.
