Bone Valley ATV Park / Bone Yard Motocross

Bone Yard Motocross at Bone Valley ATV Park in Mulberry, Florida is central Florida's only county-operated motocross track. Polk County opened it in November 2024 as part of a 300-acre expansion of the park and brought in Dream Traxx to design the layout. That is Jason Baker, the supercross builder and a Bartow native, which is a serious design pedigree for a county-run track.

The one-mile motocross track is the main event, with the kind of lap profile and feature work most local tracks cannot afford to build without major capital behind them. Public investment in motocross infrastructure is rare in this country, and it is the reason the track exists at all.

Entry is $15 and covers both the motocross track and the rest of Bone Valley ATV Park. For a professionally designed track that is a bargain; comparable Dream Traxx-level builds usually run $30 to $50 a session. The county pricing keeps the dirt affordable for the whole local rider base.

Ride days currently run twice a month, expanding to weekly as the operation scales up. That phased approach is how county-run projects grow: scheduling follows demand rather than promising weekly gates before the rider base supports it. Check the calendar before hauling out.

Riders in Mulberry, Bartow, Lakeland, Winter Haven, Plant City, and Bradenton along the I-4 corridor are closest, and Tampa and Orlando riders make the trip specifically for the Dream Traxx layout. Access is easy from Lakeland or Bartow off County Road 630. Schedule at polkfl.gov.
