Moto 129

Moto 129 is a new motocross track in Robbinsville, North Carolina, opened in the summer of 2026 in the far western corner of the state, a few minutes from the Tail of the Dragon on US 129. Local rider Will Adams built it on the old Bemis Lumber Co. property off Snowbird Road, just before the sanitation department: follow the Enter Here signs, because the turn is easy to miss if you pass the lumber yard too fast.

The track bills itself as all-age friendly, and the layout backs that up: good dirt, a flowing course with plenty of flat track sections to learn on, and a couple of big, fun jumps for riders who want air time. It is still a work in progress, with a starting gate and other facility upgrades on the way as the place grows.

There are no fixed hours. The crew posts each week's ride days and times on the Moto 129 Facebook page, weather permitting. Saturdays from 9 AM to 3 PM are the regular slot, and some weeks add a Sunday afternoon (1 to 6 PM) or a Thursday evening from 4:30 until dark. Riding is $30 per rider, or $20 for ages 10 and under, and spectators pay $10. Check the page before you make the drive, since a wet week can mean a Saturday-only schedule or a washout.
