221 MX in Union Mills, North Carolina, in the Rutherfordton area of the western foothills, is a newly built motocross track constructed in 2021 and part of the Carolina Outlaw Series. It is the sister property to Big Oak MX.

For riders in Rutherford County, including Rutherfordton, Spindale, Forest City, Lake Lure, Morganton, Lenoir, and the US-221 and US-74 corridors, 221 MX is the newest home track in the area. It is an easy run from either Asheville or Charlotte, with Asheville riders heading east and Charlotte riders heading west for the Outlaw Series racing.
