COMX Moto Facility (CMF)

A motocross track is being carved into the hills outside Mount Vernon. COMX Moto Facility, CMF for short, is the Central Ohio Motocross Series' own venue at 7660 Keys Road, and it is brand new: in late October 2026 the trails opened to riders for the first time while the main track was still being shaped. This is a listing for a place that is becoming a track, so expect it to change quickly.

The motocross course is laid out across nearly 30 acres and runs about 1.3 miles, with close to 100 feet of natural elevation change. The builders describe big uphill and downhill sections, sweeping corners and a set of signature features meant to make it fast and technical while keeping a good flow, and they say the photos do not do justice to how steep the ground is. They have been inviting experienced riders, bikes and ATVs alike, to put in test laps and help dial the layout in before it opens.

Until then the draw is the trail system through the woods, open to dirt bikes and ATVs on announced ride days. The first weekend runs Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM and Sunday from noon to 5 PM, with separate ATV and dirt bike ride days planned after that. Fees and regular hours have not been posted. Everything is announced through the Central Ohio Motocross Series Facebook page, which is also where the series posts its ATV and bike race schedule, so follow it before you load the truck. Mount Vernon sits about an hour northeast of Columbus; Route 62 MX Park in Martinsburg is the nearest established track, roughly ten miles away.
