The Sanctuary Compound

The Sanctuary Compound is a family-focused motocross and supercross facility on Three Eagles Way in Loma, just west of Grand Junction in western Colorado. The mission is community as much as track time: a safe, family-rooted home where the next generation can ride, learn, and grow, built on respect, grit, and passion for the sport.

The compound runs professional-grade training terrain and serves as a recurring host site for The Moto Academy, whose structured curriculum covers body position, braking, cornering, and jumping for every skill level. Access runs on adult and child day passes booked through their site, alongside the scheduled training days.

The riding menu covers the whole family. Four tracks split the property by skill: the supercross-style A Track for expert and pro riders, the 1-mile main motocross B Track where deep technical ruts develop through the day, the Vet C Track built for safety and progression at any level, and a pitbike and mini track for the PW50 crowd. On top of that sits the Style Pile, a freestyle hill with a 75-foot ramp for jump and trick practice. Run by the Clemons family and veteran-owned, the compound doubles as a community hub: Moto Academy training events and MX school clinics run regularly, and the crew works with local high schools teaching dirt bike safety, wrenching, and track maintenance. Open practice days are family-centric, typically around $30 for adults and $15 for kids, often with dry camping, food trucks, and the central gathering shack. Getting there is part of the experience: winding gravel roads off 16 Road in rural Mesa County, free parking with room for trucks and trailers, and 360-degree views of the Book Cliffs in every direction.
