Tenderfoot Track Club

Tenderfoot Track Club in Dillon, Colorado is a high-elevation Summit County motocross track with a backstory that explains everything about it. SCORR (Summit County Off-Road Riders) founded the club in 2010, local high-country riders organizing to keep legal dirt-bike access alive in a region that had been losing OHV terrain.

Two tracks share the property: a 1.5-mile amateur track for experienced riders and an intermediate beginner track sized for skill development. Both run family-friendly, rideable terrain for everyone in the household. Rolling natural terrain, jumps, berms, and rollers shape the layouts, and the elevation change comes built in. This is the Rockies; the topography does the work.

The club is a volunteer-run nonprofit. SCORR membership and member labor fund the property and keep the gates open, and the pricing shows it: $20 day pass, $100 adult season membership, $200 family season. For a Summit County address, that is genuinely accessible. Vacation rentals nearby start higher per night than the entire annual family membership.

The altitude is the other feature. Cool summer temperatures that Front Range and desert Southwest tracks can't offer make Tenderfoot a real July and August destination for visiting riders.

Locals in Dillon, Silverthorne, Frisco, Breckenridge, Keystone, and the broader Vail Valley treat it as the home track. Front Range riders from Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs come up I-70 for cool-weather summer riding, and Vail and Aspen visitors stop in during off-season stays.
