Carbon County Motocross Park (Carbon Emery MX)

Carbon County Motocross Park, also known as Carbon Emery MX, is a national-style outdoor motocross track at the CERCUT Fairgrounds complex in Price, Utah. The track was designed by Dirt Wurks, widely regarded as one of the best motocross track builders in the country, with a portfolio that includes major national-tour venues. A Dirt Wurks layout at a regional track is rare, and it is the first thing that sets Carbon Emery MX apart.

The national-style design shows in how the track rides. National-level outdoor layouts emphasize natural terrain flow, longer connected sections, and rhythm rather than a choppy string of disconnected features, and that is the character Dirt Wurks built here. It is a track laid out for real racing, not just lapping.

The fairgrounds setting adds practical support. The CERCUT complex covers parking, restrooms, and event-day services that standalone tracks cannot always match.

The race calendar is the other half of the story. The Carbon Emery MX Series carries the regional points racing, World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) rounds bring major-series competition to town, and Utah Sportsman Riders Association (USRA) events fill out the schedule. Eastern Utah has very few dedicated motocross tracks, and that calendar makes Carbon Emery MX the region's marquee race venue and its anchor for serious racing.

Riders in Price, Helper, Wellington, Castle Dale, Green River, Vernal, and the US-6 / US-191 corridor treat it as the home track. Salt Lake City riders make the trip southeast, Provo and Utah Valley riders run south for the racing, and Grand Junction, Colorado riders come west across the state line for race weekends.
