Metcalf Motorcycle County Park is the Bay Area's everyday riding spot, 445 acres in the rolling hills of southeast Santa Clara Valley with four tracks (motocross, ATV, Quarter-Midget) and 17 miles of OHV trails. Open Thursday through Monday, supervised by a first-aid trained ranger, with seasonal hours that stretch to 8 p.m. in summer. Restrooms, air and water stations, no camping. Easiest access to dirt for any rider in San Jose, Santa Clara, or Morgan Hill.
