300-acre facility, phased reopening under Dream Traxx (Bryan Wallace) management. Four track classes from Pee-Wee to Pro. One of SoCal's biggest practice.
What riders find
Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park sits on 300 acres in the foothills off Interstate 15, and the property went through new ownership in 2024. The 2026 reopen is happening under Dream Traxx, which is the same dirt that drew 10,000-plus riders a month at the property's peak. Whether the new operation rebuilds that traffic is a question only the next two seasons will answer, but the underlying property and track footprint are unchanged.
Four tracks scale from Pee-Wee to Pro. The Main is the elevation track, the section of the property where the SoCal foothills do the work and riders get real grade rather than bulldozed berms. The Vet track is grippy by design, softer dirt and cleaner lines for the older crowd that does not want to fight forearm pump on every lap. Two kid tracks let parents actually see their rider all the way around, which is one of those small operational details that says more about the property's family focus than any marketing copy.
The soil is hardpack with sand sections, the standard SoCal foothill mix. Hardpack in the morning, breaks down through the day, real ruts by the afternoon classes. Soil maintenance is part of what changed under the new ownership, and the early-season prep work has reportedly been heavy.
Camping is $30 a night on event weekends. The property accommodates RVs and primitive sites, and the on-site setup means full racing weekends do not require off-property lodging. The Lake Elsinore area has plenty of hotel inventory if visiting families prefer beds.
The Inland Empire location pulls riders from across the broader Los Angeles basin and Orange County. From central LA the drive is about 90 minutes south on Interstate 15. San Diego is an hour south. Riverside is 30 minutes north. The position has historically made Lake Elsinore one of the more accessible SoCal practice tracks for the LA basin riders who would otherwise drive two hours up the 14 to LACR or further out to Cahuilla Creek.
The Dream Traxx era is still finding its rhythm. What that produces operationally, in terms of practice schedule, racing format, and the kind of weekend traffic the property historically drew, is going to develop through 2026 and beyond. The dirt and the layout are the constants. The rest is in progress.
