Steel Town MX

Steel Town MX is a motocross track in McDonald, Pennsylvania, southwest of Pittsburgh. The main track is 1.1 miles, high-speed and built for all skill levels, and the property adds a kids track, a woods track and a turn track, so a family with riders at different stages can all find laps.

The track opened in 2025 under the name Steel City Raceway and renamed itself Steel Town MX that June, a nod to the grit and history of Pittsburgh. In its own words: same dirt, same passion, new name. It ran its Year 2 opening weekend on May 30 and 31, 2026, and the crew keeps the layout fresh with changes like a new step-up and reworked sections.

There is no fixed weekly schedule. Open days are announced on the track's Facebook and Instagram pages, they depend on the weather, and the track has been working through a township zoning dispute since 2025, so always confirm the track is open before you haul. Riders need to complete the track's 2026 waiver requirements for open practice. Practice pricing is not posted publicly.

The track is at 5 Weavertown Ln, McDonald, PA 15057. It is not the former Steel City Raceway in Delmont, the old AMA Pro Motocross national track that closed in 2014.
