Home of the U.S. Two Stroke Shootout. Two tracks (main bikes + quads/youth). Groomed and watered for events. Lebanon County, central PA.
What riders find
Sleepy Hollow MX Park in Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania hosts the U.S. Two Stroke Shootout, the country's biggest annual gathering of pre-mixers. That one event defines the place: every year the Shootout pulls two-stroke riders from across the country to Lebanon County, making Sleepy Hollow a genuine destination for the American two-stroke community.
Two-stroke motocross has a passionate following that rarely gets dedicated programming at typical regional tracks. Sleepy Hollow's commitment to the discipline through the annual Shootout is what earns it a spot on riders' calendars nationwide.
The property runs two tracks. The main loop handles bikes for standard motocross programming, while a separate quad and youth track gives four-wheeler riders and younger kids their own terrain away from main-track traffic, letting different rider groups use the property at the same time.
The surface gets groomed and watered before practice and race events, the prep discipline that separates a track where you can work on technique from one where the dirt becomes the limiting factor. The calendar runs a seasonal race schedule plus select practice days, built around the destination-event identity rather than daily operations.
Sleepy Hollow sits off Route 22 in Lebanon County. Riders in Fredericksburg, Lebanon, Annville, Myerstown, Jonestown, and Hershey along the Route 22 and I-78 corridors are close, Harrisburg riders make the short trip east, Reading riders run northwest, and Lancaster riders head north. Check sleepymx.com for the calendar.
Running since 1977, Sleepy Hollow splits its red-dirt property into discipline-specific layouts: the main bike track brings large technical jumps, sweeps, and technical corners groomed and heavily watered for event weekends, while a completely separate quad and youth track keeps ATV traction needs away from bike ruts and gives beginners a forgiving place to learn. The park is a District 6 stalwart, hosting the D6 Ultimate Quad Series and the Triple Crown Series, and runs strictly on pre-announced practice and race weekends rather than weekday hours. Race weekends are cash only at $25 a head with free primitive camping, a water fill station, permanent restrooms, dedicated viewing zones, and wheelchair-accessible parking.
