Smokey Pines MX

Smokey Pines MX is a family-owned motocross track built by riders for riders on more than 50 acres of rolling countryside in Mount Pleasant Township, Pennsylvania, ten minutes from Mount Pleasant, 20 from Greensburg and Connellsville and about 50 from Pittsburgh, within reach of eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia. The main track is a professionally designed layout with tabletop jumps, rhythm lanes, bermed corners, technical sections and safe run-off zones, groomed regularly and reshaped through the season to keep it fresh, challenging for experienced racers and still rideable for newer ones. A kids track keeps Stacyc riders and beginners up to 65cc on their own loop with a parent watching.

Practice days are scheduled rather than daily and posted on the website and Facebook page, $40 per rider in organized groups with flaggers on the track and no membership required. Every rider creates a Smokey Pines account for a Rider ID, signs the SpeedWaiver online and registers ahead to speed up check-in, though walk-ins are accepted and you can pay at the track. Helmet and full gear are required, riders under 18 need a parent or legal guardian present to sign the minor waiver, and there is no pit riding.

Racing runs under AMA sanction in the Smokey Pines MX Race Series presented by Hillview Motorsports, seven rounds in 2026 with the finale on October 11, plus special weekends like the Legends of MX with its Friday holeshot challenge. Entry is $35 for the first class and $30 for each additional class with a $25 annual rider membership, race-day admission is $15 per person with kids 5 and under free, and classes cover 50cc through Open A, 250 and All-Star, Vet 25+ to 60+, Women, Bomber, 125 B/C and the full youth ladder. Spectator viewing areas, large rider pits and camper parking round out the property, and camping is welcome on race weekends, with food vendors on site for the big ones.
