Kahoka MX

Kahoka MX is a long-running motocross track in Kahoka, Missouri, up in the far northeast corner of the state on the Iowa line. The track sits down inside a big natural valley, so about 98% of the layout is visible from just about anywhere in the pits, which makes it one of the better spectator tracks in the region. The course runs about a mile and a half of natural terrain on premium loam that hooks up with great traction and forms deep, technical ruts as the day goes on. Because Kahoka sits right on the border, it draws riders from both states and hosts a packed mix of series. It features heavily in the Iowa Motocross Championship Series (AMA District 22), the Iowa Enduro Riders Association (IERA) hare scrambles, and the Mid America MX Series. Race weekends usually run a multi-day format, with Saturday set aside for bike-only open practice and racing on Sunday after a short morning practice. The property has running water and camper hookups for families and riders staying through the weekend.
