Westfair MX

Westfair MX is a volunteer run motocross track set in the rolling loess hills of the Westfair Fairgrounds and Amphitheater grounds, right off Highway 6 east of Council Bluffs, Iowa. The track is leased and managed by Brett Beverage's Midwest MX LLC in partnership with Westfair, with a stated mission of preserving and growing local motocross: safe, family friendly, and open to every age and skill level. It is the amateur racing hub for the western Iowa and Omaha metro scene, drawing riders from ages 4 to 70 and serving as a stop on the Midwest MX Series points championship. The operation runs on a race weekend rhythm rather than daily practice: Saturdays bring fully prepped practice sessions from about 10 AM to mid afternoon, split into groups by machine size and skill, and Sundays run the full race program with 6 AM gates, sign-up until 8, and gate drops at 9. Entry costs stay grassroots: roughly $18 to $20 gate admission on a weekend wristband, $20 Saturday practice, and $35 to $40 first-class race entries, with Pro and Open Outlaw money classes at $45 paying 200% back to the podium, plus crowd pleasers like the Pitbike Dash for Cash before intermission. Free primitive camping comes with event entry (no water or electric at the track area), parking is free, and fairground food vendors keep the burgers, pizza, and funnel cakes coming.
