Volunteer-run motocross facility with a dedicated youth track in northeast Nebraska. Local family destination near the Iowa border.
What riders find
Fiddler Creek Motocross Park in Homer, Nebraska is a volunteer-run motocross track in the northeastern corner of the state. The place runs because local riders organize and put in the labor that keeps the gates open, not because a commercial operator is chasing revenue, and that shows in how the property is kept.
There are two tracks: a Youth track and an Adult track on the same property. The age-and-skill split lets the youngest riders learn on terrain built for them without sharing traffic with the adult track, which is what makes the family-friendly label mean something.
Access runs on a hybrid model. During the week the track is members-only, which protects the dirt for the regulars who maintain it. On race weekends the property opens to the public, so non-members can come ride and race the regional program without holding a membership.
For riders in Dakota County and northeast Nebraska, Fiddler Creek is the home track. Homer, South Sioux City, Dakota City, Wakefield, and Wayne are all close along the Highway 77 and I-29 corridors, and Sioux City, Iowa riders cross the state line for the nearest dedicated Nebraska motocross track. Norfolk-area riders make the trip east. The Sioux City metro access gives the club a bigger territory than a single-county track would normally serve.
