The Master's Motoplex

The Master's Motoplex is a large motocross and off-road facility in Gaston, South Carolina, just south of Columbia and central enough to pull riders from across the state. Formerly known as GTR, it changed hands in 2022 and got a major overhaul, and the result is one of the more complete riding destinations in the Southeast, spread across more than 600 acres.

There is a lot of dirt here. The outdoor MX track sits on 30-plus acres of natural hilled terrain with tabletops, a big bowl turn, and a triple step-up. Beyond it there is a supercross track, an MX2 track built from clay with sand sections, a sand GP turn track, more than 25 miles of trails, and a newly added mud bog the facility calls the largest in the state. That range means motocross riders, trail riders, and side-by-side crews can all find their thing on one property. The Welcome Center and restrooms were renovated in the overhaul, though note there is no RV dump station, so plan accordingly.

Riding here requires a membership, either 30 dollars for the year or a 10 dollar day pass, plus a ride fee: 30 dollars for riders 13 and up, 20 for kids 7 to 12, free for under 6, and 40 for a side-by-side.
