CGI Facility

CGI Facility in Edgefield, South Carolina is a training and practice compound in the Edgefield hills with a national caliber motocross track built safe for all ages, plus supercross, corner, beginner and kids tracks, famous for its huge jumps and for hosting Big Hill Jam Hill-O-Ween and the CGI Motofest.

What riders find

CGI Facility sits in the hills of Edgefield, South Carolina, about 25 minutes north of Augusta, and bills itself as the destination for some of the fastest riders in the country. The property is a training and practice compound first: the main track is a national caliber motocross layout the crew built to be safe for all ages and abilities, and it is backed by a beginners track, a corner track for working on turns, a supercross track, a kids track added in 2026 and a pit bike supercross track that runs under the lights. The jumps are the calling card. Riders travel to sculpt and session the big hits here, and the place has roughly 300,000 followers on Facebook and 50,000 on Instagram on the strength of the footage.

The catch is access. CGI is not a show-up-and-ride park. It opens to the public on posted days only, usually a Saturday open practice from 10 AM to 3 PM at $40 per rider when the track announces one, and the facility itself jokes about the "how come you are never open" question. The reliable way in is the one public weekend a year. For 2026 that is Big Hill Jam Hill-O-Ween, October 30 to November 1, Josh Hill's east coast jam with best whip, freestyle and big-jump demos, pit bike and e-moto supercross races, organized motocross practice, team races on a GP course that links the motocross track with the trails, Halloween games and dry camping. J Day Offroad ran its CGI Facility GP on the property on April 26, 2026, the track's first public weekend in a year, and the annual CGI Motofest, six years running each fall with motos, night pit bike racing, best whip and a BMX show, is paused for 2026 while the facility works on its next step.

When it is open, expect the national track, the beginner and corner tracks and the kids track to be available, dry camping on the grounds during event weekends, and a family-friendly crowd. The track is on Turkey Road in Edgefield; reach the facility by phone at (978) 314-5657 or email, and follow the CGI Facility Facebook page for the next open date.
