Western Raceway

Western Raceway was an 80-acre off-road motorsports park in White Hills, Arizona, just off US-93 and about 30 miles south of the Hoover Dam at 2,550 feet. It has closed and is no longer open for practice or events. For riders towing between Las Vegas and the wider Arizona scene, it was a well-regarded stop that broke up the drive.

When it ran, the builders had hauled in serious dirt to shape four distinct tracks across the flat high desert. The main track was a demanding, national-level course of over two minutes a lap, with a technical rhythm section, doubles, triples, and sweeping passing lanes. An intermediate track bridged the gap for riders moving up, a vet and beginner track used more than a dozen tabletops for smooth, forgiving landings, and a separate pee-wee track was set aside for young kids. Riders praised the staff for keeping the dirt groomed, watered, and loamy with regular water trucks and heavy equipment.

The park ran an occasional, event-driven schedule with daytime practice and a cash gate. Beyond open practice, it was a recurring host for the Arizona Offroad Promotions (AZOP) series, where the course expanded into desert single-track and endurocross obstacles, and it hosted off-road festivals like the Nevada Mudfest, drawing UTVs, ATVs, trucks, and Jeeps.

The track is now closed. Riders around Kingman, Bullhead City, Laughlin, and southern Nevada looking for prepped motocross will need to look elsewhere in Arizona.
