Sandy Valley Motocro...

~1 hour south of Las Vegas. Recently redesigned with large jumps. NV/CA border area.

What riders find

Sandy Valley Motocross is a desert motocross track in the Sandy Valley area on the Nevada-California border, about one hour south of Las Vegas. The layout was recently redesigned with large jumps, so the track rides on a current design rather than a leftover legacy layout.

The jumps are the reason to make the drive. Big features at this scale are rare among Southern Nevada tracks, and riders working on serious air have a working venue here without hauling to Glen Helen or the other major Southern California tracks.

The setting is pure desert: natural elevation, dry climate, and the dust that comes with it, the character that defines riding in this corner of the Mojave. For Las Vegas riders it delivers a real desert riding experience without the longer drives to remote BLM dune areas.

The border location gives Sandy Valley a two-state rider base. California riders from the High Desert and Inland Empire face nearly the same drive time as Las Vegas riders, so the pits fill from both directions. Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Boulder City are the close-in crowd, Mojave-area California riders run north for the jumps, and Pahrump and Nye County riders come south.

About one hour south of Las Vegas. (702) 480-4201 for the current schedule and conditions.
