Happy Track MX Park

Happy Track MX Park, known historically as Yuma MX, is Yuma's first and only dedicated motocross facility, built for night riding out at 13000 S Carlotta Ave near West County 13th Street and the East Main Canal. It serves riders across Yuma and the Imperial Valley with a structured, all-levels environment.

The dirt is the point here: the track is groomed weekly and kept completely rock-free, and new management did a full revamp that pulled out the old concrete blocks to clean up the terrain and safety. The main track runs a flowing, supercross-style layout that challenges everyone from casual amateurs to fast semi-pro locals, and there is a separate mini track for the little bikes. A heavy-duty underground sprinkler system fights the desert dust, and stadium lights let the place run after dark.

Open practice is split for safety into alternating 25-minute Big Bike and Small Bike sessions. Expert youth on 80cc and up can join the Big Bike sessions if they are 12 or older and can hold the pace, and small quads (up to 250cc four-stroke or 80cc two-stroke) are welcome during the Small Bike sessions. They also run FMX and motocross classes for all skill levels. It is a family-friendly, community-driven spot focused on progression.

Because of the desert heat, Happy Track runs seasonally, October through May, and closes for the summer. Practice is usually select Friday or Saturday evenings, around 5 or 6 PM to 10 PM. Gate is $30 for adults and $25 for minors. Overnight camping is not allowed on the property. Schedules shift, so check the Happy Track MX Facebook or Instagram before you head out.
