Muddy Creek Raceway

Muddy Creek Raceway is hallowed ground for Southeast motocross: a national-caliber facility in Blountville, Tennessee, run by Victory Sports Racing and counted among the most prominent MX and ATV venues in the country. The track is a massive 1.5 miles of fast, flowing natural terrain carved into the rolling hills of Northeast Tennessee, with sweeping bermed corners, big tabletops, and genuinely technical jump sections that reward riders who can read dirt.

And the dirt is the real deal: premium loamy, deep-manufactured soil that ruts up, holds traction, and opens multiple lines as a moto goes on. Landowner Paul Baskett and his sons cut the first track here back in the mid-1970s, and Muddy Creek cemented its legacy by hosting the AMA Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship from 2013 through 2018 in front of tens of thousands. These days it is home base for the THOR US Mega Series, the AMA Tennessee State Championship, the Top Gun Showdown, the Cody Gragg Memorial 2-Stroke Race, and premier AMA Pro ATVMX National stops, with quads just as welcome as dirt bikes.

One thing to know: this is a dedicated racing facility, not a public practice park, so you ride it on scheduled event weekends only. Dry camping is allowed during events (no hookups), with water fills for your bike wash barrels at three spots around the layout.
