Muddy Creek Raceway

Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville is one of the most respected motocross venues in the Southeast, a former AMA Lucas Oil Pro Motocross National host (2013-2018) set into a natural amphitheater in the rolling hills of eastern Tennessee. The facility has been operating since the 1970s, making it one of the longest-running motocross tracks in the entire region. Operated by Victory Sports Racing, Muddy Creek anchors the eastern Tennessee race calendar with marquee events including the THOR US Mega Series, the Kawasaki Team Green Tennessee State MX Championship, the Suzuki Top Gun Showdown, and rounds of the ATV Motocross National Championship, which returns to Muddy Creek in 2026. The track is built into a natural bowl-shaped property that gives spectators excellent sight lines across most of the layout. The dirt is the typical eastern Tennessee clay-and-loam mix that holds prep through long race weekends. Practice schedule runs March through October, with the bulk of major events clustered in summer. Camping is available on-site for race weekends. The location is part of the appeal, Blountville sits in the Tri-Cities region (Bristol, Kingsport, Johnson City), with major hotel infrastructure 15-30 minutes away in any direction. Bristol Motor Speedway is 10 minutes from the track, making race weekends a natural double-up with NASCAR or ARCA events. From Knoxville the drive is 90 minutes east; from Charlotte, three hours west; from Atlanta, four hours northeast.
