Cooper Steel Arena

Cooper Steel Arena is the big covered arena on the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration grounds in Shelbyville, Tennessee, about an hour south of Nashville. Formerly known as Calsonic Arena, it seats several thousand and hosts horse shows, rodeos and, a few times a year, indoor arenacross on a built dirt layout. There is no permanent motocross track here.

The Southern AX Tour brings Round 3 of its 2026/27 season to Cooper Steel Arena on January 15 and 16, 2027, billed as a double main event night, after the series ran here as the Southern Kentucky Arenacross in February 2026. Dirt bikes and ATVs race from 50cc kids to pros under MyLaps transponder scoring. Race times, gate prices and entry fees post on the Southern Ax Tour Facebook page ahead of the round.
