Built on cranberry bog (unique terrain). Practice-only since 2022 ownership change. Structured training programs.

What riders find

Diamond MX in East Wareham, Massachusetts, formerly Wareham MX, is a unique south coast Massachusetts motocross facility built on a former cranberry bog. The cranberry bog history is the property's most distinctive feature. Cranberry bogs produce terrain unlike any other motocross facility in the Northeast, with the sand, hard-pack, wood chips, and silt soil mix that the former bog substrate left behind.

The mixed soil profile gives the surface variety through a session. Sand develops the kind of ruts that test sand technique. Hard-pack sections firm up through afternoon use. Wood chips help the surface hold moisture. Silt adds yet another character to the riding experience. The four-component soil mix is genuinely unusual in American motocross and gives Diamond MX a riding character that no other Northeast facility can match.

Two tracks operate on the property. The roughly 1-mile main is for experienced riders, with the obstacle portfolio and pace demands that serve serious local racing and practice. A smaller beginner track gives newer riders a layout sized for their skill level. The two-track separation lets households with mixed-experience riders practice the same property at the same time.

Currently the property is practice-only since a 2022 ownership change, with no organized races on the calendar. The practice-focused operating model lets the maintenance staff focus entirely on surface quality rather than managing the broader logistics of competitive events.

Monday training sessions run 4 to 7pm and cover body position, cornering, braking, and race craft. The structured Monday instruction is the operational differentiator. Most regional facilities run open practice without instructional programming, and Diamond MX's commitment to formal training reflects the broader operating culture's focus on rider development.

The East Wareham location is in Plymouth County, south coast Massachusetts, near Cape Cod. Boston is about an hour north, Providence is roughly 40 minutes west, and the broader south coast region pulls riders from across southeastern New England.

For Northeast motocross riders looking for genuinely unique terrain, Diamond MX delivers cranberry-bog-derived soil that no other regional facility can produce. (774) 464-7527 for the current schedule and Monday training session information.
