Flying Blind Dirt Park

Flying Blind Dirt Park is the current name of the 580-acre property on SE Juniper Canyon Road south of Prineville, Oregon that riders have known as Prineville Adventure MX Park, Oregon Adventure Park and Oregon Dirt Park. It sits in the Crook County high desert about 15 minutes from town and a few miles north of Prineville Reservoir, with Bend and Redmond under an hour away.

The park was built around a 1.8-mile natural-terrain motocross track with elevation changes and off-camber corners, and that track is still in use, but as part of race weekends rather than open practice. The Outlaw Racing Desperado GP, a round of the OMRA Grand Prix series, loops across the property through rocky creek beds, sandy washes and hard-pack ridges and uses the motocross track as its vet-friendly moto section, with a poker run the day before. The same weekend has hosted the AMA Regional West Hare Scrambles Desperado round on a 15-mile course. Race weekends run Pee Wee through Pro classes, spark arrestors are required, pit riding is not allowed, and camping is available on the grounds. The park also put Prineville on the freeride map by hosting the Natural Selection Proving Grounds, a world-class freeride mountain bike contest built on custom dirt features across the property.
