Happy Moto MX

Happy Moto MX runs on the Deschutes County Expo grounds in Redmond, in central Oregon's high desert. The track is about a mile long on a sand and dirt mix cut with wood shavings, the kind of surface that stays consistent in the high desert.

The layout leans on tabletop-style jumps rather than big booters, with 15-plus obstacles and an 80-foot tabletop, plus multiple lines so beginners and faster riders can each find their pace. Larger features are staffed with certified EMTs and flaggers on practice and race days.

Practice runs $40 per rider per class, and there is plenty of flat, rocked parking. No on-site camping, but the Expo Center RV Park is right next door. Navigation tip: do not pull into the main fairgrounds, set your GPS to the Expo Center RV Park, then turn onto Elkhorn Ave and follow the Happy Moto signs.
