Round 2 of the AMA Texas State Championship Series comes to Swan MX in Tyler on August 22 and 23. Riders must be AMA members to practice or race. Friday, August 21 gate hours run 5pm to 10pm, with gates locking nightly. Saturday, August 22 gates open at 6:30am, rider check-in runs 6:30am to 4pm, organized practice is 8am to noon, and Saturday races follow. Sunday, August 23 gates and rider check-in open at 6:30am, warm-up laps are at 8am, a mandatory riders meeting follows practice, and races follow. Gate passes are $15 per person per day or $30 for a weekend pass, and under 5 are free. Dry camping and trailer drop-off are $25 per night, organized practice is $30 per rider, and entry is $50 for amateurs or $60 for pros with a 200% pro payout. A pit vehicle pass is $20, and wristbands must be worn at all times.
