Round 1 of the 2026 AMA Texas State Championship Series (North region) runs August 15-16 at Bowers MX in Amarillo, Texas. The Texas State Championship reaches its 16th year in 2026 and its first as an AMA Featured Series, awarding points on a per moto basis toward the Texas #1 plate. Saturday practice runs 8 AM to noon, then racing fills the weekend across classes from 50cc micro up to 450cc Pro, plus 65cc, 85cc, Supermini, Schoolboy, Women's, College and the full Vet 25+ through 50+ lineup. Points stay within the North region, so riders chase the title round by round.
