The Shootout is Round 3 of the 2026 AMA Texas State Championship Series and runs September 4-6 at Rafter S MX in Malakoff, Texas. All three regions, North, Central and South, race the same weekend, and double points are on the line inside each region. Friday move in opens at 5 PM, Saturday practice runs 8 AM to noon, and racing covers classes from 50cc micro up to 450cc Pro and the full Vet lineup. In its first year as an AMA Featured Series, the Texas State Championship makes this combined weekend one of the biggest of the season.
