Round 1 of the 2026 AMA Texas State Championship Series (Central region) runs August 15-16 at Oak Hill MX (Oak Hill Raceway) in Alvord, Texas. The Texas State Championship reaches its 16th year in 2026 and its first as an AMA Featured Series, awarding points on a per moto basis toward the Texas #1 plate. Saturday practice runs 8 AM to noon, then racing fills the weekend across classes from 50cc micro up to 450cc Pro, plus 65cc, 85cc, Supermini, Schoolboy, Women's, College and the full Vet 25+ through 50+ lineup. Oak Hill is the series home track and hosts both this Central round and the State Championship Final. Points stay within the Central region, so riders chase the title round by round.
