Robert's Track and Trails

Robert's Track and Trails is a private 103-acre weekend-only off-road park near Saluda, about 40 minutes south of Richmond. The property's appeal is geographic: it's accessible to a wide stretch of Virginia riders from Richmond, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, and Norfolk on the same weekend trip.

Track inventory runs three tracks plus 8 miles of wooded trails: a 2-mile main motocross track, two dedicated kids tracks, and the woods loop for cross-discipline riding. The two kids tracks is the family-side asset, families with multiple young riders at different skill levels can ride simultaneously without trading sessions on the same surface.

Membership-based with day passes available is the operating model. Day passes can be applied toward annual fee, which is a workable on-ramp, riders can test the property on day pricing and convert to membership if the value pencils out. That structure is friendlier than most membership-first private parks that lock new visitors out entirely.

The weekend-only operating window means the property runs Saturday and Sunday rather than 7-day open-practice. Lunch served at the track on member weekends adds a real amenity to the operating day, not just dirt and parking. Real restrooms and primitive member camping accommodate full weekend stays.

For local Tidewater and central Virginia riders, Robert's is one of the few private multi-track destinations within reasonable drive of the major metros. Richmond riders run south for the day. Hampton Roads (Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Newport News, Chesapeake) riders make the trip west. Williamsburg and Yorktown riders have the closest geographic access.
